As the birthplace of Bali's tourism, Kuta has become the epicentre of tourism on this Island of Gods. It is often the first place that tourists head to upon arriving (it is just 15-minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, but that heavily depends on traffic). At Kuta they will find sandy beaches, shiny shopping malls, congested streets, and overwhelmingly many places to eat and drink. There is no shortage of hotels either. Directly connected to Beachwalk Shopping Centre, the Aloft Bali Kuta at Beachwalk is just steps from everything leisure. The 175-room hotel marks Marriott's 25th (!!!) property in Bali, and the second Aloft property after the Aloft Bali Seminyak located up north.

Impression
At just a year old in 2023, this hotel is sparkling and comes with all the affordances of a brand new property. But there are many other new and great hotels in Bali too, including those of Marriott and other hotel chains. Ultimately, because it is time-consuming to get around Bali, the best place to stay probably depends on where one would like to be—Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Ubud, Canggu, Nusa Dua, etc.
Guests who pick Kuta and appreciate a direct access to Beachwalk Shopping Centre, benefitting from a wide range of retail and F&B options in a well-known landmark, will find this hotel convenient. Marriott Bonvoy members will note that Sheraton, Four Points, and Fairfield also have properties in Kuta. In total, an impressive 18 Marriott brands are represented across Bali.
